When container are returned to Samskip they must me empty and clean. All equipment, including spansets, airbags, cains and overlays.
Samskips drivers can´t load containers that are not empty. All costs linked to unnecessary driving are billed to the request maker.
If a container is not empty and clean a cleaning fee is charged, according to the tarriff.
If the total equipment isn´t returned with the container the will be extra charge for the customer, missing equipment, according to tarriff.
Open top containers should be returned with the sail and roof bows
Reefers should be fitted with connection cable remodeling and processed in a freezer storage facility. The connection cable on heat controlled containers should be taken care of and stored in the cable/connection box.
The access to empty containers should be sufficient.
If container is damaged when returned, the customer will recieve an extra charge according to the repairment plan.
If damage is caused to Samskip's containers in the custody of the customer, If a container or equipment is damaged while in custody of the customer, please notify by email in [email protected] or by phone to Samskip's Transport Management Department at tel: +354 458-8486 or +354 458-8602.
If a container is not returned within agreed time an extra charge will be invoiced to customer according to tarriff.
