Moving from Iceland
Samskip’s goal is to provide good comprehensive services in the shipment of goods. There are many things to keep in mind when moving to or from Iceland or moving within Iceland.
Offer
In order to get a price for shipping you have to fill out an Offer Request.
It is important to fill in all * (asterisk) marked fields as well as the amount of goods to be transported.
Quantity
How much bulk do you carry with you? Here you can calculate estimated square meters of your shipment. It is usually more efficient to order a container if the quantity is larger than 16 m3.
How to order?
All transfers must be ordered at least three (3) days in advance and this is done at Samskip's office in Reykjavik, tel. +354 458 8000 or by email at [email protected].

Notes about FCL and LCL
FCL is a full load for 20ft or 40ft Containers. LCL is for loads packed up on pallets.
