Moving within Iceland

Delivery is offered from the sender's door to the receiver's door anywhere in Iceland, either in containers (20 or 40 feet) or bulk cargo. All transports are made by land.

Delivery is available in whole containers in two sizes, 20 feet and 40 feet. Samskip domestic can also move the cargo freight in trucks. When transported, there is always a greater risk of damage as each piece is handled more often than in the case of container transport. Packaging and finishing should be carefully executed.

All products shipped with Samskip domestic are insured. The insurance coverage is based on the value of goods up to ISK 10,000,000. If the value goes up to 10,000,000 kr. it must be insured separately.
